Content Description
This is a program from a 1956 production at the University of Hong Kong of "Comus, A Masque" by John Milton and "The Secular Masque" by John Dryden. Edmund Blunden, then a professor of English, played Chronos in "The Secular Masque" and wrote the prologue for the program. Blunden also inscribed the program with a note for George Whalley, a Canadian poet and lecturer from Queen's University in Ontario. The crest of the Hong Kong Festival of the Arts is printed on the back cover of the program.
