  • Biographical / Historical

    Jean Gittins (née Ho Tung) was born in Hong Kong in 1908 to Sir Robert and Clara Ho Tung. At the time of the Japanese conquest she was Secretary at the HKU Faculty of Medicine; she spent the remainder of the war in Stanley Prison Camp. After the war she moved to Australia, where she wrote articles on a variety of subjects. She passed away in 1995.
