Scope and Contents
Various loose documents with manuscripts and notes wrapped by a paper written "許地山" (Hsü Ti-Shan). Items include: Introduction of Manjushri (文殊師利); Extract of a play, suspected to be an extract of the play "愛見" (see Box 03744); Extract of passages related to Buddhism such as "Sigala Jataka", "Commentary on Gathas of Gagga Jakata and Introductory Commentary", "Introduction to Uraga Jataka", suspected to be written in Sanskrit, with notes and translation aside written in English and Chinese; A list of reference books and notes for the research of Chinese logography and literature; 《解卷論》/《掌中論》(written by 陳那菩薩 Dignāga, some suggested that it is written by 聖天 Aryadeva) /《解拳論》(The Closed Hand) written by 聖天 (Aryadeva), translated by F.W. Thomas (多默思), H. Ui (Hakuju Ui, 宇井伯壽) in English and Hsü Ti-Shan annotated and translated into Chinese, etc.
