Doris Gray Papers
Content Description
The Doris Gray Papers consist of an autobiographical summary, publications by Dr. Gray, including "Experiments in Biological Chemistry," as well as other scientific papers, and academic correspondence while at HKU. Additionally, three photo albums and dozens of slides depicting life at HKU and in Hong Kong are included as well as one trophy.

Biographical / Historical
Dr. Doris Gray was born in 1915 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She earned her BS in General Science as well as her MSc and PhD in biochemistry at the University of Western Ontario. In 1953 she moved to the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Hong Kong, where she worked until her retirement in 1975.
