Founded in 1988 by Margaret Wang, the University of Hong Kong Museum Society is a non-profit organization that supports the University of Hong Kong Museum and Art Gallery as well as promotes arts and culture in Hong Kong. The Society organizes regular cultural activities, such sa lectures, seminars, tours, and heritage walks among other events. Proceeds from activities are donated to the University Museum and Art Gallery for acquisitions and hosting special exhibitions.
