The University of Hong Kong History Workshop was founded in 1975 by the HKU Department of History with the primary goal of collecting and collating materials on the history of Hong Kong to help history students. The Workshop collected academic publications, conference papers, photographs, audio-visual material and others and cataloged the material for future use.
